At the end of February, I was privileged to be part of an ecumenical trip to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory. It included Jude Levermore from the Methodist Church in Great Britain, Rebecca McGonigle from the Church of Scotland, Reynaldo Ferreira Leão Neto, President of the World Methodist Council, and Jin Yang Kim from the United Methodist Church in the US. We were joined by local workers and activists, including Samar, Jane and David from the Methodist Liaison Office and Muriel Pearson (Church of Scotland) based in Tiberias.
The original plan was to host this ecumenical trip in November of 2023, but then 7 October happened…
