In a world marked by conflict and uncertainty, it is easy to underestimate the power of a single act of kindness. We may assume that meaningful change requires grand gestures or sweeping movements. Not so. Scripture reminds us, through a boy’s lunch of bread and fish, God delights to work through small, faithful acts.
Perhaps in your own life, a small act of kindness – a gentle invitation, an offer of a lift or even a cup of sugar – has contributed to a chain of events and growing relationships far beyond what anyone could have imagined.
